The Polar Express!

We went on the Polar Express again.  This year we went with our Neighbors Bryan, Alexa and their son Spencer.  Although it was pretty cold the boys had so much fun.  Wyatt of course LOVED seeing Santa again.  Tanner was still unsure of him but did talk to him and even gave him a high five this time!

St Nick

St Nick came to our house.  The boys were so excited to look in their stockings to see what he brought for them.  They got cars, movies, and new ornaments (Wyatt got a Lightning Mcqueen ornament and Tanner got an Elmo one.). Tanner also got a baby that is dressed like a dog.

Snow!

We got a little dusting of snow last weekend.  As soon as Wyatt woke up that  morning he wanted to go outside and shovel!  We had to take Tanner to his 18 month doctor appointment that morning so Wyatt was very disappointed that he didn't get to go outside.  We finally let them go outside to play that afternoon. There wasn't very much snow on the grass so they went out on the deck.  They had so much fun.  Wyatt even made snow angels.

Wyatt and Tanner's Trees

Wyatt was so very proud that he decorated his little tree all by himself! Tanner preferred decorating the felt tree.

Santa!

We took the kids to see Santa.  They both were very excited.  Wyatt ran right up to him and gave him hug.  He sat on his lap and told him what he wanted for Christmas. Tanner loved looking at him from a distance but did not want to sit on his lap.  When they were done Tanner stopped crying and kept looking saying "Ho Ho Ho". We kept asking him if he wanted to sit on Santa's lap and he said "No no"!

The Little Polar Express

We were at the mall this weekend and they have a little Polar Express train for kids to ride on.  We took a ride around the mall on it.  Wyatt and Tanner loved it.  The conductor even let Wyatt sit in the engine seat and pretend to drive.  Here are a couple pictures we took.  Tanner was so upset that he had to get off he was crying so he is not in any of the pictures.  Wyatt is super excited to ride the big Polar Express train in a couple weeks!

Trick or Treating!

This was the first year that we went out trick or treating.  Wyatt has been very interested in Halloween and was so excited to go trick or treating. Tanner actually got really into it too.  Tanner didn't want us to carry him at all and wanted to go up to the houses just like all the big kids.  They had a lot of fun and, of course, had to see all the candy they got as soon as we got home.

Happy Halloween!

Making Halloween Cookies

Wyatt and I decided to make some Halloween cookies.  Tanner of course wanted to be included in every step!  I forgot how messy the rolling and cutting out process was because of all the flour needed.  The kitchen ended up a mess, but we had fun and made a lot of cookies!
