Santa!

There was a much better Santa at Wyatt's school when we went for his Christmas program. This was the first year that Tanner went right up to him and sat on his lap.  I was so proud of him.  Madelynn, however, wasn't thrilled to sit on Santa's lap.

The Polar Express

Last weekend we went on the Polar Express. We went with our neighbors Bryan, Alexa and Spencer again. The boys were really excited of course and had a great time.  Madelynn really enjoyed it this year too.  She got to try hot chocolate and watched as the conductor punched an "M" on her golden ticket.  At the end of the ride Santa joined us on the train. The Santa this year was a little disappointing. He was a very nice guy but didn't look much like Santa. The kids never said anything and were very excited to see him so that was a good thing.  Madelynn just kept looking at him trying to figure out who he was.

St Nick

St Nick came to our house this past weekend.  The boys were so excited! Wyatt even made him a Christmas card and colored a picture for him.  They all were excited to see the fun stuff St Nick left in their stockings!

Movie Night

Last Friday we took the boys to the movie theater.  Madelynn stay at home with our babysitter Kalie.  It was Tanners first time going.  We saw The Good Dinosaur.  Both boys really liked the movie and had a great time!

Jingle is Back!

Our Elf Jingle came back to our house the day after Thanksgiving.  The boys were so excited to see him.  He brought a special present this time.  They all got Christmas place mats and mugs with their names on them.  He also brought his special breakfast treat!  Wyatt and Tanner get so excited every morning to find the new spot Jingle is in.

Dizzy Castle

The boys love going to Dizzy Castle.  It has a huge indoor playground for them to play.  There is also a toddler area that Madelynn can play in.  We meet my friend Megan and her girls there one morning.  We played all morning and had lunch together there.  Here are a few pictures we were able to get.

Trick or Treating

The boys were excited because Papa Gast was here to go trick or treating with them this year. We had a pizza party with our neighbor friends before everyone went out.  Of course it was pouring down rain that night.  Jeff took Madelynn to a couple houses so she could see what it was all about.  She was so excited to pull all her candy out of her bag and show me.  Madelynn and I then passed out candy while the boys went trick or treating.  Everyone had lots of fun even though they came home soaked!

Wyatt's first field trip

Wyatt's class had their first field trip the other day.  It was at a pumpkin patch.  I got to go with him, and it was nice to have some special Mommy/Wyatt time.  He had lots of fun with his friends. We ended our morning by bring home some hot chocolate to share with Tanner!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch this past weekend.  Grandma Immel was with us! The boys had lots of fun playing on the hay bale pyramid, riding the little trackers, feeding the animals, going through the bale maze, and launching pumpkins. Everyone picked out their pumpkins in the pumpkin patch and then we ended the trip with hot chocolate of course. Everyone had a great time!
