Madelynn is 8 Months!

Madelynn turned 8 months old on Wednesday.  She is getting so big! She learned how to wave now and can sit up by herself for a short time.  When rolling around on the floor you can tell she really wants to "army" crawl, but can't quite do it yet.  She is also learning how to drink out of a sippy cup. When "talking" to us she says "Da Da" now.  She is so in love with her brothers and laughs at them all the time. And, we are all so in love with her!

Rainy weekend

After many sunny and 60+ degree days, the weekend was cooler and rainy.  The weather didn't stop Wyatt and Tanner from venturing outside! They insisted on putting on all their rain gear and taking a walk.

Picnic with Friends

On Friday we met Spencer and Gabe at our neighborhood park for a lunchtime picnic!

JJ Jump

We met my friend Megan the other day at JJ Jump.  JJ Jump is an indoor inflatable arena.  They have two huge inflatable slides, and four other inflatable bounce house/play areas.  We went during the 7 yrs old &  younger time, and there were only three other kids there.  The boys had so much fun! It was hard to get pictures because they were jumping and moving all around, but here are a few we got.  We also took a slow motion video.

7 Months

While we were back in the Midwest Madelynn turned 7 months old! She is rolling all over the floor now.  She can give you high fives and shake her head "no".  She is becoming interactive with Mom and Dad and her big brothers so this has been a lot of fun. Madelynn enjoys being outside in the Baby Bjorn or her Ergo. She even sat up in the double stroller like a big girl for a walk the other day. And, we can't get enough of her chubby cheeks!

Madelynn's Baptism

When we were back visiting in the Midwest, we had Madelynn baptized. Jeff and I got married at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Wanatah, Indiana by Father Jerry. He also baptized Wyatt and Tanner. So, of course, we wanted Madelynn baptized by Father Jerry too before he retired this summer.  We scheduled the baptism during mass on February 14th. Unfortunately there was blowing snow and white-out conditions and they canceled mass.  Father Jerry was kind enough to still have our baptism that night and we made it to the church and back safely.

Midwest Trip!

A few weeks ago we traveled back to the Midwest to visit family and friends.  We first went to Indiana and stayed with Papa and Grandma Gast.  Then we drove up to Wisconsin and stayed with Papa and Grandma Immel.  We had so much fun visiting with family and good friends. The boys really enjoyed spending so much time with their cousins. We miss everyone so much every day!  Here are a few pictures from our trip.
