Skamania Lodge

Jeff was off work on Friday and so we decided to take a mini vacation.  We took the kids to Skamania Lodge to stay the night and go swimming.  It was only 45 minutes from our house.  They were so excited to go!  When we got there we went out to dinner. After we got back from dinner the hotel had a Falconry show going on. We went for a little bit and saw a falcon, bald eagle, and an owl. Then we took the kids in the swimming pool.  Wyatt was so proud that he could swim by himself with his floaties.  Tanner was a little more hesitant in the water, but after a while he was swimming all around.  It  was Madelynn's first time in a big swimming pool and she loved it. It was Madelynn's first time in a hotel and the boys' first experience sleeping in the same bed. They all did very well.  The next day we did more swimming before heading home. It was a great mini vacation with our family! :)

Water Balloon Fight!

The boys had a water balloon fight yesterday.  They had so much fun even though it was hard for them to hit each other with the balloons.  They are already planning more water balloons fights for the summer!

Fudge Bars

We made homemade fudge bars! I didn't get pictures of the process, but here are the boys with some of the final product.  It was a tasty treat on a hot day!

Madelynn is 11 Months!

Madelynn is 11 months today! I can't believe next month she will be one year old!  She is getting really fast at army crawling now. She loves clapping her hands and roaring like a dinosaur with her brothers.  She has just started to pull herself up on things now. It is so bittersweet to see how big she is getting.

Water fun!

The weather has been really hot here. The boys have been playing in their sprinkler and swimming pool a lot.  We even got out the baby pool for Madelynn and she loves it!

Tanner is 3!

Saturday was Tanner's birthday.  I can't believe he is three years old!  He is such a kind, loving, and sweet little boy.  Yet he still has a little bit of spunk in him and keeps us on our toes.  He is a great little and big brother.  Wyatt and him are very close and love being together all the time.  He loves his little sister and loves helping with her.  We feel so blessed that he is apart of our family.

We had a little birthday party for Tanner on his birthday.  We invited a few of his friends who we usually have play dates with.  It was nice and Tanner had lots of fun.
