Santa

We went to see Santa over the weekend.  The boys were so excited.  Madelynn said she was going to sit with him and tell him she wanted a baby for Christmas.  When it was our turn she was not thrilled that I put her on Santa's lap.

St Nick

St Nick came to our house.  This year the kids were excited because Grandma and Papa Gast were here. The kids were so excited to see all the fun things he brought them in their stockings.

The Polar Express

We went on our annual Polar Express ride.  This year we thought it would be fun to take Papa and Grandma Gast when they were visiting.  The kids were so excited.  Everyone had so much fun! When Santa joined us towards the end of the ride Madelynn wanted nothing to do with him.  The boys however were excited and told him what they wanted him to bring them.

Thanksgiving

We were so excited and thankful to spend Thanksgiving with our wonderful friends this year!  Rebecca and Justin and their kids have become our family here in Washington. The kids had so much fun playing and the adults got to play some grown up games. We spent the whole day at their house and it was a great thanksgiving! Here are a few cute pictures I got.

Martial Arts

Wyatt and Tanner started martial arts.  They had a couple of private lessons and now they will start the group classes.  They each got to break a board with their foot.  They were so excited to break the board and now have it displayed in their rooms.

Gymnastics

Madelynn now goes to gymnastics once a week while the boys are in school. She absolutely loves it! She asks to go all the time.  She even got a certificate already and was so proud of it (of course they spelled her name wrong).

Baking with the kids

Wyatt had early release all last week so the teachers could do conferences.  So we filled our afternoons with baking.  The kids love to bake! Here are some pictures of the pumpkin muffins and cupcakes we made.
