Kindergarten and First Grade!

The boys are both in Elementary school full time now.  They both had excellent first days and love their new classes and teachers.  Tanner has Wyatt's old kindergarten teacher so we were very excited about that.  They love school so far and can't wait to go everyday! Maddie still tells everyone that she goes to "mommy school"!

Solar Eclipse

We watched the solar eclipse in the empty lot of or neighborhood with some neighbors.  I was nervous the kids would try to look at the sun without their glasses; so we made the paper plate mask with their glasses to keep them on.  I think the boys thought it was going to be more exciting then it was but we were glad to have the opportunity to experience it.

Annual Immel Camping trip

We went glamping again at the KOA campground near Astoria, Oregon.  The kids loved all the activities they offer there when we went last year.  So we decided to go there again for our annual camping trip.  It was a fun and relaxing time. Here are a few of the many pictures I took. :)  Oh and Tanner was so excited he got the top bunk this time!

Happy Birthday Madelynn!

Our sweet and sassy girl is three years old!! I don't know how that happened! Maddie got to celebrate her birthday all week long back in the Midwest with family and friends.  She is the only one who has gotten to celebrate a birthday with her cousins.  She had so much fun and was so spoiled.  She got three cakes and even got to go out for ice cream on her actual birthday!  We all had so much fun back in the Midwest with our family and friends who we love and miss so much!

Cannon Beach Vacation

We went on our annual beach trip. We decided to go right after school was out this year. The kids spent many hours in the hotel pool and playing at the beach. This year we walked down to Haystack rock and did some exploring up close. We did some shopping in downtown Cannon Beach one afternoon too. It was a great vacation as always.  Lots of family memories made!
